Windows Audio Recorder is a good audio capture application for use with WMP, and works under WinXP!

"Easy to use"

Sound quality remains excellent after recording, especially if recording from DVD sound, i.e. like a U2 DVD! Pretty good, however, if your looking for simplicity and sound quality.
